Courtney Patten is enjoying her sixth year as choral director at Kerr Middle School and her ninth year of teaching. Mrs. Patten holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Sam Houston State University where she graduated in 2011. Mrs. Patten’s choirs have experienced success participating in UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest, Hurricane Harbor Choral Contest, the Middle School All Region Choir process, and Solo & Ensemble Competition.
Professionally, Mrs. Patten has been an invited judge and clinician across the state. She maintains active membership in the Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Choral Directors Association and serves as the children’s choir director for St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Arlington.
In her spare time Mrs. Patten enjoys reading, watching movies, game nights with friends, and yoga. Mrs. Patten resides in Fort Worth with her husband, Travis, and darling dog, Audrey.
